COMBAR update

Dear supporters,
Great news. We will start shipping out our first batch of COMBARs this week. Yes, we can confirm that the first 100 are ready to go this Thursday and we are moving steadily through QC to get every order ready for dispatch.
All COMBARs will be shipped within the next 3 weeks.
It is later than we had planned but with this being the first time anyone will have a full production COMBAR in their hands, we wanted to be sure to get this right for you.
As each of the COMBARs ship we will send the tracking information so you will know they are on their way

Late April Update - Shipping schedule

We will start the shipping week commencing 26th May. It will take us few weeks to get all the orders out simply because of the final QC.
An update for you in images:
Picture 1 is the handle cleaning process before the addition of the hammer.
Picture 2 shows the locking mechanisms ready to go.
Picture 3 is a batch of the handle doors also waiting for assembly.
Picture 4 is a saw body waiting for saw-blade assembly .

We believe your experience with the COMBAR starts with how it arrives in your hands. That desire to get packaging that matched the promise of the product led us on a 12 month process from concept to design; prototyping and finally production and QC.
The packaging is ready and looking great so want to share a few images of the final product.
We are now a few weeks from the shipping and we promise to update with an exact ship date soon.

Early March Update

Our new axe heads are looking good and as the video shows, we sharpen every one individually. The machinery is set so that we get the correct grind angle each time and your axe will be perfect for outdoor adventures.
We know that you already eager to get hold your COMBAR and we can’t wait to get them into your hands. The finish line is close and we are pushing to meet it during the upcoming weeks. It always takes longer than we would like but even with no shortcuts and no compromises, we are getting there.

Mid - February Update

We are happy to update you that we have overcome both the axe blade and handle injection challenges and are now in full assembly and QC.
We locked all orders and addresses last week to check the fulfillment requirements so we can ensure an accurate and smooth transition of the Combar into your hands.
We are expecting that we will begin shipping in a few more weeks. As you can see from the videos, we are hand-assembling each element so the process is slow and deliberate but allows for visual checks at every step. We won’t accept any compromises with the COMBAR.
Beside the assembly, we are implementing an ERP system (enterprise resource planning) to manage production, inventory and QC; a CRM system (customer relationship management); and the Warranty Activation Service to be here for you beyond the delivery.
