While planning for production readiness we were told that our Indiegogo campaign was cancelled by the Trust and Safety team because they decided the Combar was a weapon. We have been negotiating with Indiegogo and we are happy to say that we are now live again but without the Knife and Saw. This is not a deal breaker because if you want the Knife and Saw, we can sell them to you directly anyway. In fact, all add-ons will be available soon via Backerkit. The Knife and Saw (Combar Pro) are available for an additional $140. Other add-ons include the case ($50); holster ($40) and magazines for $9. Watch out for the Backerkit survey in the next week.

Our Kickstarter project has ended and the Combar has been over 400% funded! Thank you to all of our generous backers for helping make this project a reality. We have spent the last 4 years in bringing the Combar idea to life. It hasn’t been easy. The technical and design challenges we had to work through have not been trivial. And along the way there have been a lot of people who told us we would not succeed. So this campaign means a lot to us. It shows us that you believe in the Combar as much as we do and it gives us the momentum to accelerate to the finish line and get the Combar to market late this year. Thank you again and we will keep you update on the final tests and production.

Woohoo!
We are halfway through the campaign and have reached 300% of our funding target. Very exciting for all of us and hugely motivating to the Aclim8 team who are working hard to bring the Combar to you. As mentioned in the last update, we have all the metal done and are working on the GFN molds for the handle – which will be ready next week. As soon as we have samples, we will publish them. We are working with a very experienced, globally known holster manufacturer to make the production process as smooth as possible. We are also working behind the scenes to promote the campaign and get more pledges. This is where you come in. Please take a moment to share the project with friends or on social media. Tell them about the amazing Combar with five essential tools that all fold into one streamlined product - that comes in at less than three pounds! I’m sure they will love as much as you do. Lastly, we wanted to share this picture with you from September last year. This is the Combar prototype doing some recon in Utah. No prizes for guessing where this is.
